AD/Bell 206/23 Overhead Console Installation Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/23.

AD/BELL 206/23 Overhead Console Installation - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1970, required inspection of the overhead console in accordance with Bell Service Letter 206A-135 to verify existence of an insulator used to prevent the main buss bolt from grounding on the airframe structure.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 23 January 1970.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
