AD/BELL 206/20 Amdt 1 Cyclic Control Installation - Fitment
of Balance Spring
11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1971, required modification in accordance with Bell Service Letter 206A-104 Revision C Part 1 to install a spring to balance the cyclic control stick forces and eliminate any tendency for the cyclic control to move fore or aft when the stick is released by the pilot.  The AD compliance was before
1 September 1971.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
