AD/Bell 206/17 Amdt 1 Transmission Mount Spindle Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/17 Amdt 1.

AD/BELL 206/17 Amdt 1 Transmission Mount Spindle - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1974, required a one off inspection for forging laps in the transmission mount spindle.  The inspection was required in accordance with Bell Service Bulletin 206-01-74-03.  The AD compliance was within 25 hours time in service after 28 October 1974.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
