AD/Bell 206/13 Fan Shaft Assembly Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/13.

Bell Helicopter Textron Canada (BHTC) 206 and Agusta Bell 206 Series Helicopters

AD/BELL 206/13 Fan Shaft Assembly - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1969, required inspection of the fan shaft assembly in accordance with Bell Service Bulletin 206A-9 to ensure condition of bearing does not deteriorate due to misalignment.  The AD compliance was within 25 hours time in service after 23 April 1969.  As all aircraft would have been inspected by now, the AD is no longer required.
