AD/BELL 206/12 Transmission Magnetic Drain
Plug B-734 Replacement
11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1969, required replacement of the transmission magnetic drain plug in accordance with Bell Service Letter 206A-58 to provide a longer plug for improved oil immersion and a stronger magnet.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 15 April 1969.  As all aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
