AD/Bell 206/118 Bogus Tension Torsion Straps Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BELL 206/118.

AD/BELL 206/118 Bogus Tension Torsion Straps 11/2008

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.
Background:	This unique Australian AD, issued in 1989, required inspection of the tension torsion straps in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-89-46 and 206L-89-60 to remove any bogus parts from service.  The AD compliance was prior to further flight from 3 November 1989.  As all aircraft would have been inspected and the bogus parts removed, the AD is no longer required.
