AD/BELL 206/118 Bogus Tension Torsion Straps 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1989, required inspection of the tension torsion straps in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-89-46 and 206L-89-60 to remove any bogus parts from service.  The AD compliance was prior to further flight from 3 November 1989.  As all aircraft would have been inspected and the bogus parts removed, the AD is no longer required.
