AD/BELL 206/110 Tail Rotor Pitch Links 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1987, required a one off inspection of the tail rotor pitch links in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-87-39 or
206L-87-48 to detect the presence of stress corrosion cracks in the area that houses the spherical bearing.  The AD compliance was before 30 November 1987.  As all pitch links would have been inspected now, the AD is no longer required.
