AD/BELL 206/106 Float Inflation Valve 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1987, required replacement of the piston pin retaining cap on the float inflation valve in accordance with Bell Alert Service Bulletin 206-87-35 or 206L-87-43 as a result of damaged cap threads occurring after actuation.  The AD compliance was no later than 30 June 1987 or at the next valve refurbishment.  As all aircraft would have replaced the caps by now, the AD is no longer required.
