AD/BELL 205/3 Main Rotor Blade - Modification 3/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 March 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1968, required modification of the main rotor blade in accordance with Bell SL No. 205A-8 to ensure positive security of the main rotor blade tip ballast weights.  The AD compliance was within 100 hours time in service after 14 February 1969.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, the AD is no longer required.
