AD/BEECH 95/4 Ground Outside Air Temperature Indicator Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 95/4.
Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 95/4 | Ground Outside Air Temperature Indicator | 8/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 66-26, required grounding the AOT indicator with metallic tape to eliminate the possibility of static electricity accumulation causing a spark discharge to the magnetic compass. Compliance was before 1 September 1971. As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
