AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 95/4.

Beechcraft 95 (Travelair) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 95/4 Ground Outside Air Temperature Indicator 8/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 31 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 66-26, required grounding the AOT indicator with metallic tape to eliminate the possibility of static electricity accumulation causing a spark discharge to the magnetic compass.

Compliance was before 1 September 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
