AD/BEECH 90/88 Cabin Door Cancelled (Cth)

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 90/88.

Background: | This unique Australian AD raised in 1992 required a one-off visual inspection of the cabin door locking mechanism prompted by a local investigation into the loss of a cabin door during flight. Compliance was at next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 10 December 1992. As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
