AD/BEECH 90/60 Left Hand Rudder Cable Installation Inspection Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 90/60.
Beechcraft 90 and 65-90 (King Air) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 90/60 | Left Hand Rudder Cable Installation - Inspection | 7/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1981 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 1172, required an inspection of the LH rudder cable to ensure the cable had been correctly routed in the under-floor area to prevent abnormal wear that could lead to in-flight cable separation. Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1981. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
