AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 90/59.

Beechcraft 90 and 65-90 (King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 90/59 Elevator Control
Horn Attachment - Modification
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1981 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 1111 Rev 1, required the strengthening of the attachment of the elevator horn to the torque tube by installation of additional rivets to prevent looseness developing in this control connection.

Compliance within 100 hours TIS after 31 May 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
