AD/BEECH 90/33 Magnetic Material Near Compass
Flux Valve - Removal
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1974 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0605-039, required the installation of nonmagnetic hardware in the vicinity of the magnetic flux valve to reduce the possibility of the flux valve providing erroneous signals to the navigation instruments.

Compliance was within 200 hours TIS after 30 September 1974.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
