AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 90/2.

Beechcraft 90 and 65-90 (King Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 90/2 Firewall Fuel Shut-Off
Valve Switches - Modification
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 66-21, Rev.1, required replacement of the firewall fuel shut-off valve switches and installation of identification guards to assist the pilot in distinguishing the firewall fuel shut-off valve switches from the boost pump switches to prevent inadvertent fuel shut-off.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
