AD/BEECH 90/17 Engine Fire Extinguisher System Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 90/17.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1969 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0197-481, required a modification by installation of a replacement new and improved fireproof hose assembly in the engine fire extinguishing system.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 29 September 1969.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
