AD/BEECH 90/13 Fuel Heater System Shield - Modification 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1968 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 67-16 required a modification by installation of a fire shield for the oil to fuel heater assembly to prevent burnthrough of the oil to fuel housing in the event of fire in the engine compartment.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 28 December 1967.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
