AD/BEECH 77/5 Control Column Installation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 77/5.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1980 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 1124, required a modification to reduce the possibility of the pilot's or co-pilot's foot being caught forward of the control column floor console by  installing a foot guard.

Compliance was before 31 November 1980.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
