AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 76/4.

Beechcraft 76 (Duchess) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 76/4 Fuel Tank Outlet Check Valve
and Fuel Selector Valves
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1979 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 1054, required installation of check valves on the fuel tank outlets to reduce the possibility of fuel transferring from one wing to the other and installing an improved fuel selector valve of an improved design.

Compliance was before 1 October 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
