AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 76/16 Amdt 1.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, originally raised in 1983 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 2081, required inspection of the main landing gear side brace over centre travel and limit switch adjustment to minimise the possibility of inadvertent retraction of the main landing gear.

Compliance was prior to the issue of the next Maintenance Release after
9 April 1987.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
