AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 76/15.

Beechcraft 76 (Duchess) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 76/15 Woodward Governor Models
L and R 210652
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1983 against Woodward Service Bulletin (SB) No. 33581, required the modification or replacement of propeller governors to prevent possible unfeathering failure.

Compliance was: Part 1:  Within 25 hours TIS after 21 November 1983 and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 25 hours TIS until modified in accordance with Part 2.

Part 2:  Within 100 hours TIS after 21 November 1983 or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 21 November 1983 whichever is the later.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
