AD/BEECH 65/8 Control Sub-Panel Shelf Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 65/8.

AD/BEECH 65/8 Control Sub-Panel Shelf - Modification 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1983 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No.67-5, required a one-off inspection and possible modification of the control
sub-panel shelf to prevent possible interference between the sub-panel shelf and elevator controls.

Compliance was within 50 hours TIS after 24 May 1967.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
