AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 65/60 Amdt 1.

Beechcraft 65 and 70 (Queen Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 65/60 Amdt 1 Ansair Passenger Seats 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, originally raised in 1986, required replacement of some seats located over the wing spar carry-through.  Only seats bearing part number G417-00-001 could sustain the 9g forward loading requirement.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 March 1986, or at the next scheduled inspection for Maintenance Release issue after 31 March 1986, which ever is the later.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
