AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 65/6.

Beechcraft 65 and 70 (Queen Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 65/6 Aft Facing Chair
Reclining Stops - Inspection
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 66-45, required an inspection to ensure the roller and pin assemblies of the back and seat pivot points were correctly located in order to ensure adequate back strength for the aft facing chairs.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 15 February 1967.  As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
