AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 65/59 Amdt 1.

Beechcraft 65 and 70 (Queen Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 65/59 Amdt 1 Elevators 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1984 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No.1207, then amended against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 2030, required replacement of elevators that had improperly bonded honeycomb stiffener strips.

Compliance with the AD was within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1984.  As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
