AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 65/58 Amdt 3.

Beechcraft 65 and 70 (Queen Air) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 65/58 Amdt 3 Fuel Boost Pumps 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, originally issued in 1983 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No.2156, required inspection and/or replacement of fuel booster pumps to reduce the possibility of a fuel leak at the positive electrical terminal.

Compliance was divided into three steps; within 100 hours TIS after 30 September 1986 or before 31 March 1987 whichever occurs first, before further flight and before installation after 30 September 1986.

As all affected aircraft would be in compliance with this AD by now, it is considered that the AD is no longer required.
