AD/BEECH 65/52 Landing Gear Torque Tube - Inspection
and Replacement
7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1979, required the landing gear torque tube to be inspected for elongated or double drilling of the bolt hole where the nose gear drive sprocket attaches to the torque tube and gearbox shaft in accordance with Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No.1049.

Compliance with the AD was within 100 hours time in service after 31 August 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is no longer required.
