AD/BEECH 65/41 Fuel System - Placards 7/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 3 July 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was issued in 1974 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0539-281, rather than a State of Design AD, requiring new decals to be installed to reflect a change in unusable fuel and to denote new FAA minimum fuel requirements for take-off.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1974.

SI No. 0559-281 was applicable to the Beechcraft 56TC and A56TC models for which AD/BEECH 56/15 was raised covering the same subject. AD/BEECH 60/26 was also raised against this SI.

Note:  This AD was similar to the requirements contained in FAA AD 72-11-02 which is relevant to AD/BEECH 33/16, AD/BEECH 35/39 and AD/BEECH 36/16.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that an unsafe condition no longer exists.
