AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 60/34.

Beechcraft 60 (Duke) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 60/34 Fuel Drain Lines 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD issued in 1978 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 1006, rather than a State of Design AD, required the provision of new fuel drain tube assemblies and securing clamps to improve clearance from landing gear V braces due incorrect routing that could cause the tubes to chaff against the landing gear V brace.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 November 1978.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that an unsafe condition no longer exists.
