AD/BEECH 60/26 Fuel System Placards Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 60/26.
Beechcraft 60 (Duke) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 60/26 | Fuel System - Placards | 6/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD was issued in 1974 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0559-281, rather than a State of Design AD, requiring new decals to be installed to reflect a change in unusable fuel and to denote new FAA minimum fuel requirements for take-off. The SI was also applicable to the Beechcraft 56TC and A56TC models for which AD/BEECH 56/15 was raised. Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1974. Note: This AD was similar to the requirements contained in FAA AD 72-11-02 which is relevant to AD/BEECH 33/16, AD/BEECH 35/39 and AD/BEECH 36/16. As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that an unsafe condition no longer exists. |
