AD/BEECH 60/11 Aft Facing Seats Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 60/11.

AD/BEECH 60/11 Aft Facing Seats 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was issued in 1971 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0440-314 that required an inspection to ensure the seat backs of aft facing third and fourth seats had correct cams and installation of heat-treated pins.  Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 July 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
