AD/BEECH 56/6 Centre Section Rear Spar Jack Pad Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 56/6.

AD/BEECH 56/6 Centre Section Rear Spar Jack Pad 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1969 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0064-67, Rev 1, required modification of the centre section rear spar jack pad to increase its shear strength.

Compliance was within 200 hours TIS or before 1 August 1969 whichever occurred first.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
