AD/BEECH 56/3 Cabin Door Latch Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 56/3.

AD/BEECH 56/3 Cabin Door Latch 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was issued in 1968 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0004-104, requiring the installation of a third latch point for the cabin door to prevent it deflecting in flight.  Compliance was before 1 November 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
