AD/BEECH 56/21 Control Surface Trim Tab Systems Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 56/21.
Beechcraft 56TC (Turbo Baron) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 56/21 | Control Surface Trim Tab Systems | 6/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD was originally issued in 1980 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0846-152, Rev. 2. The SI provided inspection procedures and trim tab free play limitations which would indicate when excessive wear had occurred in trim tab linkage and or actuators. Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after As the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals have now been amended, Schedule 5 requirements are adequate, and only one defect has been recorded on the mandatory recording system, the unsafe condition is contained and the AD is therefore no longer required. |
