AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 56/14.

Beechcraft 56TC (Turbo Baron) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 56/14 Second Row Seats 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required a one-off inspection of the second row seat rails to ensure that stops were fitted at the forward ends, and to fit stops as necessary.  This requirement was initiated following a local survivable Beech Baron accident due seats sliding off the forward end of rear rails.

Compliance was before 31 July 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
