Ad/Beech 56/1 Amdt 2 - Rudder Spar and Hinges - Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 56/1 Amdt 2.

AD/BEECH 56/1 Amdt 2 Rudder Spar and Hinges 10/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 24 September 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1968 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) 67-34, Rev.1, required an inspection for cracking of the rudder spar and alignment of hinges followed by a modification.

Compliance was required within 300 hours TIS from 16 May 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
