AD/BEECH 55/8 Dorsal Fin Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/8.

AD/BEECH 55/8 Dorsal Fin 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) 66-16, required repair/replacement /reinforcement of the dorsal fin after cracking was found.

Modification was to be carried out within the next 500 hours TIS after 15 March 1967.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
