AD/BEECH 55/66 Emergency Exits Placards and Markings Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/66.
Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95-55 (Baron) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 55/66 | Emergency Exits - Placards and Markings | 3/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 13 March 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD issued in 1984 required the standardisation of emergency exit placards and modification of the window latch. The requirements for the emergency placards are now contained in AD/GENERAL/4 Amendment 3 and the Aircraft Flight Manual, and the modification of the window latch would now have been completed on existing aircraft. Therefore, the requirements of this directive are no longer necessary. |
