AD/BEECH 55/6 Elevator Tab Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/6.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD issued in 1967 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) No. 66-12, required the replacement of both elevator trim tabs to provide increased strength of the elevator tab assemblies.  Compliance was before 1 September 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
