AD/BEECH 55/48 Front Seat Restraint Installation Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/48.
Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95-55 (Baron) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/BEECH 55/48 | Front Seat Restraint Installation | 6/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008. | |
Background: | This unique Australian AD, issued in 1976, withdrew approval of front seat restraint installation to Civil Flying Services Drawing No. 1010, and replaced with an upper torso restraint modified to a scheme approved by the then Secretary. Modification to Molyneux Drawing No. MAD 1048 was an acceptable means of compliance. Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 December 1976. This AD has been overtaken by AD/GENERAL/74 Amendment 1. As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and if necessary modified long ago, and AD/GENERAL/74 also applies, this AD is no longer required. |
