AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/47.

Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95-55 (Baron) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 55/47 Aft Cabin Door 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD issued in 1976 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) No. 0840-104, required the installation of an improved latch pin and clips together with a third door ajar switch and necessary wiring on the aft upper corner of the aft cabin door frame.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 November 1976.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and if necessary modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
