AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 55/14.

Beechcraft 55, 58 and 95-55 (Baron) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 55/14 Centre Section Rear Spar Jack Pad 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1969 against Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) 55 - No. 0064-67 Rev 1, required modification of the centre section rear spar jack pad installation to increase its shear strength.  Compliance was within 200 hours TIS or before 1 August 1969 whichever occurs first.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
