AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/7.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/7 Magneto Ground Leads 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, probably issued in 1957 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) B50 - No.22, C50 - No.11and D50 - No. 4 rather than a State of Design AD, required inspection and repair of any damage to the magneto ground leads in each wheel well with glass fibre insulating tape due to possible chafing or worn insulation.  Action was to be taken forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
