AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/4.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/4 Rivets in Firewall Seal Plates 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, probably issued in 1959 against Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB) B50 - No.7, required replacement of aluminium rivets with steel rivets around the engine control cables at the firewall to give better fire resistance.  Action was to be taken forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary modified, long ago, this AD is no longer required.
