AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/25.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/25 Engine Mount Bolt Nuts 6/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 5 June 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1973, required a one-off inspection to determine that non-ferrous nuts had not been inadvertently installed in place of steel nuts on engine mount bolts in accordance with Beechcraft Service Instruction (SI) 0396-241.  The inspection was to be accomplished within 100 hours TIS after 31 May1973.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
