AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/24.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/24 Exhaust Augmenter Clamps 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD issued 1973 required inspection of the exhaust augmenter clamps on the main augmenter tubes for security as the tubes form part of the firewall of the engine compartment.  Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 March 1973.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
