AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/20.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/20 Outer Wing Electrical Wiring 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD issued 1971, required inspection of the electrical wiring aft of the rear auxiliary fuel tank(s) in each outer wing for chafing after an in-flight fire in the wing of a Beech Queen Air.  Rectification was to replace any missing grommets or other insulation material from clips supporting the electrical wiring loom in each outer wing.  Compliance was within 30 hours TIS after 21 December 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
