AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 50/13.

Beechcraft 50 (Twin Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 50/13 50 Amp Motor Overload Circuit Breaker 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD published in 1959 against a Beechcraft Service Bulletin (SB), rather than a State of design AD, required inspection of the landing gear electrical wiring at the 50 ampere motor overload circuit breaker (CB) to ensure CB is properly wired to protect the motor and circuit.  Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have complied with this AD by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
