AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 36/3.

Beechcraft 36 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 36/3 Fuel Gauge Placard 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1968, required the installation of a placard adjacent to each fuel quantity gauge showing the corrected readings at all major graduations and the ungaugeable quantity of fuel.  Compliance was forthwith.

Records indicate that this AD was raised to meet the requirements of Air Navigation Order (ANO) 101.22.  As ANO 101.22 has been cancelled, the requirements of this directive are no longer appropriate or necessary.
