AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/BEECH 36/19.

Beechcraft 36 (Bonanza) Series Aeroplanes

AD/BEECH 36/19 Internally Lighted Altimeter 5/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 8 May 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian airworthiness directive (AD) was issued in 1973 and was applicable to internally lighted altimeters supplied as spares ex Beech Wichita between September 1972 and August 1973.  Compliance with the inspection requirement was before further flight and replacement within 50 hours time in service after 17 October 1973.  This unique Australian AD was not based on a State of Design AD.

As all applicable altimeters should have been replaced by now, it is considered that the unsafe condition no longer exists.
